HypnoBirthing® is a childbirth class with a difference focusing on how you and your partner can work together using deep relaxation techniques and a superb emotional toolkit to achieve a much more calm, relaxed and comfortable birth than you might currently believe is possible. This is a really down-to-earth series of short classes designed to put you back in control of your birthing experience and quite different to NHS and NCT antenatal classes. My next HypnoBirthing® course, begins on Saturday 4th October and I have space for one further couple. If you would like to read more click here or call me direct on 01276 21386 and I can take the time to answer all your questions and more besides. Can I help you find relief from the acute symptoms of birth trauma and postnatal PTSD?
I work with mums and dads from across the UK and I know that the feelings you are experiencing can feel very isolating indeed. Secondly, I don't just work with mums who have newborns or toddlers. There are many mums who only find out and receive a correct diagnosis or stumble on a symptom list by chance and realise that they have been suffering from birth trauma and postnatal PTSD symptoms when their children are in their teens or adults themselves. There is plenty of information on this site about how I can help you but I urge you to pick up the phone and talk to me directly so that I can answer your personal questions. It takes courage to pick up the phone but you'll be greeted by a very warm and easy to talk to mum when you call, so do call. Take that one small step and contact me today on 01276 21386 or alternatively drop me a line at joanne@conceptionandbirth.com.

Can I help you in the aftermath of a miscarriage, stillbirth or loss of your child?
No amount of words can possibly soothe or heal the emotional turmoil of loss and in my work with parents, whether they have experienced an early miscarriage or loss of a child later in life, loss is loss and grief is grief but, there is help here for you when you feel a need to clear the emotional trauma surrounding your loss and this isn't about erasing or burying a memory. On the contrary these special little ones are much to be remembered at whatever stage we were separated from them. So, read a little more here when you are ready, and in time, if you would like to talk and explore a very gentle therapy that can dissolve the emotional trauma you and your partner have been through, I am just a phone call away and ready to help you take those tentative steps to emotional recovery.

Can I help you dissolve those feelings of overwhelm and overload as a new parent?
I'm sure by now you're thinking "well the books didn't prepare me for this!" Rest assured you are not alone. Feeling tired, thoroughly under qualified for the job of 'new parent' and wondering how to stay in control of your own emotions, let alone become proficient at intuiting the needs of your new addition, can indeed take its toll from time to time, and that, is where I come in. As a mum to one very gorgeous and energetic toddler myself, I have enough experience under my belt both as a mother and as a professional coach, to know that parenting is a life long learning experience where the 'L' plates never quite come off. Just as you feel you are getting to grips with one phase, your child will delight and challenge you with yet another one tomorrow...and so our parenting journey continues. So how can I help you? Well, whether you are in shock struggling to come to terms with a thin blue line on your tenth 'just to be sure' test stick, or are grappling with life, work, your relationship and your young family, I can certainly help you dissolve those unwanted emotions of fear, anger, frustration, embarrassment and the lingering sense of having no control - a common array of emotions for most new parents and parents-in-waiting. Half the battle of 'sane' parenting, is remaining calm, so if we get you calm, confident and positively buzzing, then the challenging times will be so much easier to manage. Are we looking for perfection? Heavens no! Just that reassuring sense of being more in control and able to enjoy your journey through parenthood...a desirable target for all parents. So, when you find yourself with 2 minutes spare, read a little more here and give me a call to find out how I can help you look and feel calm and in greater control without resorting to Botox to iron out those furrowed brow and stress lines. As you might have guessed, an injection of humour will be essential in this process but absolutely painless...

So now, if you haven't already done so, dip in follow a few links and read a bit, and then read some more and when you are ready, pick up the phone and let's talk. I'm here to help and look forward to getting to know you shortly.

Warm regards
